Austindo confidently seeks 10% production growth in 2023

28 December 2022 10:30

JAKARTA. PT Austindo Nusantara Jaya Tbk (ANJT) is targeting its crude palm oil (CPO) production to increase approximately 10% in 2023 despite the extreme weather.

Nopri Pitoy, Director of Finance of ANJT, said that this extreme weather might hinder the planting and harvesting the palm. “We set the production growth target to 10% in 2023,” she confirmed, as quoted by Bisnis.com yesterday (27/12). Said optimism is reinforced with additional plantation area in papua.

This production growth will be made possible through the replanting in Belitung and North Sumatra 1 plantations, as well as the increase in the production of prime plantations in Kalimantan and North Sumatra II.

Pitoy also mentioned that on top of boosting CPO production, ANJT will raise the volume of the fresh fruit bunches production, increase the oil extraction by maximizing mill function, and enhance the oil grading quality. (AM/ZH)
