Tancorp’s portion in CAKK shifts to 62.55%

JAKARTA. The stock ownership of PT Tancorp Bangun Indonesia (TBII) in PT Cahayaputra Asa Keramik Tbk (CAKK) now rises to 62.55% from 55.01%, following the mandatory tender offer (MTO) of 90.63 million units of CAKK’s shares worth IDR 68.7 billion.

Based on the information disclosure, TBII, which is a holding company owned by the crazy-rich Surabayan, Hermanto Tanoko, has repurchased 90.63 million units of common shares from 300 million shares in the MTO. They were offered for IDR 229 per share, totalling IDR 68.7 billion in value.

“TBII submitted the MTO report on December 28, 2022,” Johan Silitonga, President Director of CAKK, confirmed in the information disclosure earlier today (29/12). Prior to this, TBII was the controlling shareholder of CAKK, owning 662 million shares or 55.01% of the shares. With this transaction, TBII now has a claim over 752.63 million units of shares or 62.55% of CAKK’s entire issued and paid-up capital.

Tancorp Bangun Indonesia first bought CAKK’s shares on October 19, 2022, from PT Marissi Idola Sumber Sejahtera, Johan Silitonga, and Luciana Sutanto in the negotiation market. It acquired 662 million units or 55% of shares for IDR 229 each, spending a total of IDR 151.59 billion. After this acquisition, Tancorp’s portfolio now consists of companies from various sectors, including PT Avia Avian Tbk. (AVIA), PT Sariguna Primatirta Tbk. (CLEO), PT Caturkarda Depo Bangunan Tbk. (DEPO), PT Jaya Sukses Makmur Sentosa Tbk. (RISE), and PT Mega Perintis Tbk. (ZONE). (AM/ZH)
