JAKARTA - On Friday, December 23, two new investors directly acquired more than 5% of the two issuers. First, PT Firstindo Finansial Corpora purchased 767,412,300 shares of PT Menthobi Karyatama Raya Tbk (MKTR) to gain 6.4% ownership. Following that, PT Fersindo Nusa Jaya invested in PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) by purchasing 18 million shares, or 5.02% of the renewable energy issuer.
In addition to new investors, several existing investors are increasing their stakes in some companies. PT SAS Global Jaya purchased 190 million shares of PT SLJ Global Tbk (SULI), increasing its ownership from 4.66% to 12.55%. The controlling shareholder, PT Tancorp Bangun Indonesia, then increased its stake to 62.55 percent by purchasing 90.63 million shares of PT Cahayaputra Asa Keramik Tbk (CAKK).
In addition, PT Putra Borneo Agro Lestari purchased 437.06 million shares of PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana Tbk (SSMS), increasing its ownership from 5.37% to 9.86%. PT Maybank Sekuritas Indonesia, on the other hand, sold 183.40 million shares of SSMS, reducing its ownership from 12.53% to 7.94%.
On the divestment front, GOTO Peopleverse Fund is still in the spotlight. GPF continues to sell 213.19 million shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) to transfer ownership of the company. Furthermore, several controlling shareholders sold their shares, starting with First Pacific Capital Group Limited, the controlling shareholder of PT Indonesia Prima Property Tbk (OMRE), which sold 64.75 million shares. The controller of PT Kino Investindo is also seen selling 23.7 million shares of PT Kino Indonesia Tbk (KINO). Finally, the controller of PT Trimegah Sumber Mas sold 10 million shares of PT Trimegah Karya Pratama Tbk (UVCR), an issuer that provides gift cards and vouchers. (KD)
