JAKARTA - Starting in the last week of December, two issuers were discovered to have pocketed new investors on Monday, December 26. The most noticeable was PT KB Valbury Sekuritas, a securities company that is a subsidiary of Korea KB Securities, which acquired 1,295,001,500 shares of PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk and gained 5.86% ownership immediately. PT Biofuel Indo Sumatra, on the other hand, has sold 250 million BNBR shares.

PT Ameksa Permata Abadi, in addition to BNBR, became a new investor after purchasing 270 million shares, or 8.38% ownership, in PT HK Metals Utama Tbk (HKMU), an issuer in the iron, steel, and holo iron industries. PT Putra Borneo Agro Lestari, another domestic investor, is seen purchasing 22.89 million shares of palm oil issuer PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana Tbk (SSMS). Meanwhile, from foreign investors, Tolaram Group Inc., the controlling shareholder, purchased shares to strengthen its position at PT Bank Amar Indonesia (AMAR) by purchasing another 49.2 million shares. Finally, Kingswood Union Corporation purchased 35.06 million shares of PT Pacific Strategic Financial Tbk (APIC).

The GOTO Peopleverse Fund, on the other hand, is still releasing PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) shares, this time up to 222.25 million shares. Then, Chemical Asia Corporation Pte Ltd, a Singaporean investor, sold 197.7 million shares of PT Victoria Investama Tbk (VICO). The controlling shareholder, PT Investasi Sukses Bersama, then sold 19.1 million shares of PT Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk (WIFI) in the domestic market, while PT Yulie Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk (YULE) sold 3.5 million of its own shares.
