JAKARTA. PT NFC Indonesia Tbk (NFCX), through its subsidiary, PT Volta Indonesia Semesta, is working together with Bank DKI to facilitate easier access to procure electric vehicle (EV).

With this partnership underway, Volta and Bank DKI will offer an easy credit for EV purchase. This collaboration is said to support the government's programme in accelerating the transition from fossil-fueled vehicles to green vehicles.

"The partnership is a form of a support for the government's programme of the utilisation of 2 million units of EV by 2025, targeting for emission reduction by 29% by 2039 and net zero emission by 2060," Fidri Arnaldy, President Director of Bank DKI, said in the information disclosure.

In order for the masses to obtain Volta EV ownership credit, Arnaldy said that they could submit the request online. The user may fill in an electronic form that is provided in Bank DKI's official website.

"Bank DKI is currently developing a digital lending application that will facilitate credit submission from anywhere, anytime," Arnaldy said.

Meanwhile, Iwan Suryaputra, CEO of Volta, claimed that this partnership indicates that the initiative of the transition to EV has gained supports from other parties, not only manufacturers and distributors. "Volta will continue to synergise with other parties to create a comprehensive EV ecosystem that will positively affect its environment," Suryaputra added. (KR/ZH)
