JAKARTA. The amount of incoming bids during the auction of Government Securities (lit. Surat Utang Negara/SUN) today (17/1) reportedly reaches IDR 59.05 trillion, as revealed by the Directorate General of Budget Financing and Risk Management (DJPPR) of the Ministry of Finance.

Last week, the government has set an indicative target of IDR 23 trillion for this round of auction. Therefore, it means that the total incoming bids this time is twofold the initial target previously announced.

For the record, there are seven series of SUN offered by the Indonesian government in today's auction. Two series are Government Treasury Notes (lit. Surat Perbendaharaan Negara/SPN), while the other five are Government Bonds (lit. Obligasi Negara/ON).

The incoming bids placed for both SPN series clock up to IDR 8.62 trillion, while five ON series raise IDR 50.43 trillion of incoming bids.

The awarded amount of all series of SUN reaches IDR 23 trillion, equivalent to 38.95% of total incoming bids in the auction. (KR/ZH)
