JAKARTA – PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) will conduct a private placement by issuing 5.79 million units of series A shares. Its assets will also increase by USD 37.98 million or approximately IDR 579.18 billion, using an exchange rate of IDR 15,247 per USD.

Based on the prospectus quoted Wednesday (18/1), Michael Wong, Director of BIPI, revealed that the proceeds of the private placement will be used as its working capital and pay back some obligations. This corporate action will take place no later than two years after gaining approval from its shareholders in the Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting on February 23, 2022.

As of now, BIPI's authorised capital amounts to IDR 8.2 trillion, comprising series A of IDR 7.2 trillion and series B of IDR 1 trillion. Its issued and paid-up capital clocks up to IDR 5.60 trillion. The series A shares are split to PT Indotambang Perkasa (IP) of 23.57%, public investors of 70.07%, and Michael Wong of 0.06%. For series B, 6.30% of the shares belong to the public. The remaining shares in the portfolio are series A worth IDR 1.77 trillion and series B of IDR 817.45 billion. 

Its issued and paid-up capital is worth IDR 6.18 trillion, of which series A shareholders consist of IP of 21.43%, the public of 63.70%, Michael Wong of 0.05%, and new investors of 9.09%. Series B holders will receive 5.73%. Lastly, its assets will rise from USD 1.13 billion to USD 1.17 billion. (LK/ZH)
