JAKARTA – Banks reportedly managed to collect third-party funds of IDR 7.92 quadrillion in December 2022, shifting 9.3% from IDR 7.25 quadrillion in December 2021.

According to the broad money analysis of Bank Indonesia quoted today (25/1), the structure of third-party funds consists of term savings of IDR 2.86 quadrillion, followed by savings accounts of IDR 2.63 quadrillion, and current accounts of IDR 2.43 quadrillion.

In December 2021, the term savings was stuck at IDR 2.79 quadrillion, while savings accounts held IDR 2.45 quadrillion, and current accounts kept IDR 2 quadrillion.

For another comparison, in November 2022, the third-party funds clocked up to IDR 7.73 quadrillion, comprising term savings of IDR 2.84 quadrillion, savings accounts of IDR 2.56 quadrillion, and current accounts of IDR 2.32 quadrillion.

Then, in November 2021, banks gathered third-party funds of IDR 7.06 quadrillion, which were an accumulation from term savings of IDR 2.78 quadrillion, savings accounts of IDR 2.37 quadrillion, and current accounts of IDR 1.91 quadrillion. (LK/ZH)
