JAKARTA - On Friday, January 27, foreign investors purchased up to 1,137,719,300 GOTO shares, bringing good news to the end of the fourth week of January. Purchases of this size pushed the total volume of foreign buys to 2.57 billion shares. Foreign sales of "only" 2.06 billion shares resulted in a net volume surplus of 512,790,100 shares. GOTO shares alone have a net volume of approximately 652 million shares.

Other significant issuers' shares also made the top-buy list this time. With a net volume of 73.6 million shares, foreign investors purchased 132.79 million shares of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA). Following that, 86.25 million shares of PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) were purchased, for a net volume of 63.52 million. Foreign investors also purchased 66.84 million shares of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) and 18.51 million shares of PT Surya Permata Andalan Tbk (NATO). As a result, the two issuers reported net volumes of 21.64 million and 18 million shares, respectively.

On the other hand, PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES) shares were at the top of the top-sell list, with foreign investors selling 139.57 million shares of ACES, bringing its net volume to -65.80 million shares. Foreigners also sold 101.65 million shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), resulting in a net volume of minus 26.61 million. Furthermore, foreign investors sold 67.46 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) and 33.98 million shares of PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (ENRG). BRMS's net volume was relatively low at -42.31 million, but only around -30 million for ENRG. Finally, foreign investors sold 34.32 million shares of PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (MTEL), recording a net volume of -25.76 million shares. (KD)
