JAKARTA. PT Puradelta Lestari Tbk (DMAS), the developer of Deltamas integrated city, admits that the demands for industrial areas are quite high at this time of the year.

According to Tondy Suwanto, Director of DMAS, the demands for industrial areas clock up to 90 hectares (Ha), all of which are under negotiation. “The demands for data centres are still the highest,” he clarified in the official statement.

The popular demands for industrial areas, especially for data centres, stem from the rapidly growing digital lifestyle in Indonesia. “We are eyeing the opportunities of land sales for the data centre industry in 2023,” he mentioned.

With this high level of demand this year, DMAS sets the marketing sales target this year to reach IDR 1.8 trillion. The target is slightly lower than the realisation of marketing sales in 2022, which amounted to IDR 1.86 trillion.

Furthermore, DMAS will maximise the marketing sales of its industrial areas for automotive industry and its byproducts. “The demands for industrial areas from other sectors, including automotive and its byproducts, also start to resurface,” Suwanto added. (KR/ZH)
