JAKARTA - PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) will conduct a stock split with a 1:2 ratio or a nominal value of IDR 250 to IDR 125 per share.

In the disclosure published on Wednesday (29/3), Rudi As Tataridha, Corporate Secretary of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) said that the number of shares after the stock split would be 93.33 billion from the previous 46.66 billion.

Trading of new nominal shares will start trading on regular and negotiation on (4/3) and on the cash market on (6/4). End of trading of old nominal shares in all markets on (3/4).

Yesterday (28/3), BMRI shares closed at IDR 10,125 per share with a volume of 43.18 million in 11,429 transactions worth IDR 438.70 billion.

The shareholder structure of the state-owned bank as of (28/2) includes 52% BUMN, 8% Indonesia Investment, and 40% of the public from 46.66 billion shares.

This share split plan was decided at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) on (14/3). Series A Dwiwarna shares are maintained as Series A with a nominal value of IDR 125 per share and Series A Dwiwarna Series B with a nominal value of IDR 125 per share. (LK/LM)
