JAKARTA - On Thursday, May 4, insurance company PT Capital Life Indonesia became a new investor in automotive issuer PT Bintang Oto Global Tbk (BOGA), with a stake of more than 5%. Capital Life recently purchased 190.43 million BOGA shares, representing a 5.01% ownership stake. Furthermore, PT Merdeka Energi Nusantara, the parent company of PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk (MBMA), is gradually deepening its involvement in this issuer that manufactures electric vehicle batteries. MEN purchased 29.08 million shares of MBMA, slightly increasing its ownership to 49.46%.

Furthermore, as one of the largest shareholders of PT Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk (TSPC), PT Bogamulia Nagadi seemed to have invested another 3.60 million shares in this pharmaceutical company. By continuing to make buybacks, PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID) also added 3.55 million DOID shares to its investments. Besides that, the controlling shareholder, PT Pangan Sejahtera Investama, purchased 2.14 million shares of PT FKS Food Sejahtera Tbk (AISA), a food and beverage producer. Then, PT Akulaku Silvrr Indonesia was still interested in investing another 1.85 million shares in PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk (BBYB), while individual investor Hotman Hutapea SH purchased another 77,500 shares of PT Data Sinergitama Jaya Tbk (ELIT).

Two investors, on the other hand, have decided to resell shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO). The Singapore government sold 274.65 million GOTO shares through Citibank Singapore, while the GOTO Peopleverse Fund sold 68.73 million shares. Finally, the Deputy Attorney General for Special Criminal Affairs at the Attorney General's Office of the Republic of Indonesia sold shares, specifically 39.53 million shares of PT Royal Prima Tbk (PRIM), the hospital operator company.
