JAKARTA - PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk (PGAS) has obtained a loan facility worth a total of USD 800 million from national banks.

Rachmat Utama, Corporate Secretary of PGAS, further mentioned that the facility consists of Facility A of USD 600 million and Facility B of USD 200 million. "Said facility will be equal to 23% of the total equity of PGAS in December 2022 of USD 3.44 billion," he added in the information disclosure quoted Friday (12/5).

The debtors for this facility are PT Bank BTPN Tbk (BTPN), PT Bank OCBC NISP Tbk (NISP), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), and PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI).

The Facility A will mature on its fifth year, while the Facility B is due for repayment on the third year. Both facilities are equipped with an interest rate of margin interest + 3-months SOFR. The company did not submit any guarantee, making this loan a clean basis facility.

The loan is said to be used for refinancing, enhancing working capital, as well as funding operational activities. (LK/ZH)
