JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) made capital investment in PT Bogor Serpong Infra Selaras (BSIS), a joint venture managing Bogor-Serpong via Parung Toll Road. The capital investment took place yesterday (11/9).

In the information disclosure quoted Thursday (12/9), Nixon Sitorus, Corporate Secretary and Chief Administration Office (CAO) of JSMR, revealed that four founders of BSIS consist of PT Persada Utama Infra (PUI), PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR), PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI), and PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur (HKI).

“The company will then invest in BSIS worth IDR 4.39 billion, or 4,394 shares, worth 26% of total issued and paid-up capital of BSIS,” Sitorus confirmed.

According to Sitorus, this joint venture will bring positive impact on market share increase, particularly due to toll road development and operation.

The business expansion might have translated into stock price boost. Until this afternoon (12/9), JSMR was at IDR 4,900 per share, up IDR 40 per share from the closing bell position at IDR 4,860 recorded yesterday (11/9). (LK/ZH)
