JAKARTA - The number of foreign transactions on the stock exchange on Friday, November 29, was exceptional. Nearly 6 billion shares were sold, compared to 5.28 billion shares that were bought. As a result, net foreign fell to 688.66 million shares in the red zone.

With 3.29 billion shares sold, PT Goto Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) once again went to the top of the sell list. This holding company that provides digital services then also reported a -308.06 million net volume. PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) and PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), two national banking issuers, came next, each with net foreign volumes of -192.99 million and -72.71 million shares. Approximately 351.29 million BBRI and 131.97 million BMRI shares were released by foreign investors.

Following the sale of about 474.81 million of its shares by foreigners, mining holding company PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) reported a net foreign volume of -176.22 million shares. Finally, with 225.31 million shares sold and a net volume of -150.63 million, PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO) ended the top sell list.

The top buy list was begun by PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) this time around with a net volume of 273.22 million shares and a foreign purchase volume of 309.94 million. Additionally, foreigners purchased 28 million shares of PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR), a real estate developer, and 32.66 million shares of PT Multipolar Tbk (MLPL), an electronic retail issuer. The two issuers reported net volumes of about 20 million shares each. Foreigners then bought about 40 million shares of PT Astra International Tbk, an automotive firm, for a net volume of 15.95 million shares. Finally, 17.08 million shares of PT Matahari Putra Prima Tbk (MPPA) were purchased, resulting in a net volume of about 12.02 million shares.
