On Tuesday, April 16, PT Gema Grahasarana Tbk (GEMA), an interior contractor and furniture manufacturer, welcomed a new investor from the Reksa Dana Sucorinvest Equity Fund. Through PT Bank HSBC Indonesia, 85.92 million GEMA shares were acquired, giving this investor a current ownership stake of approximately 5.37%. Another new investor, PT Firstindo Finansial Corpora, bought 51.88 million shares in PT Sumber Energi Andalan Tbk (ITMA), giving it a 5.19% stake.

On Thursday, April 18, foreign investors bought and sold roughly 3 billion shares. Foreign sales were recorded at 3.12 billion shares, while foreign purchases totaled 3.01 billion. As a result, the foreign net volume was reported in the red, albeit only around 110.56 million shares. The most shares released by foreigners this time were 207.21 million shares of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM), which also had the lowest net volume of -85.50 million shares. In contrast, PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) had the highest net volume, 102.40 million shares, after 112.94 million shares were purchased by foreigners.

On Friday, April 5, PT Hotel Candi Baru, the controlling investor in PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO), increased its stake by 5.14 billion shares via PT BNI Sekuritas. This share purchase also increased Hotel Candi Baru's ownership of the herbal medicine producer from 51% to 68.14% of SIDO shares. PT. Ahabe Niaga Selaras has also become a new shareholder in the automotive company, PT Bintraco Dharma Tbk (CARS). This investor acted quickly, acquiring 1.40 billion shares, or roughly 9.34% ownership, through two securities firms.
