JAKARTA - A financial technology platform company in Indonesia, PT Distribusi Voucher Nusantara Indonesia Tbk (DIVA),has set the target to reach out 299.000 new users from micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME) in 2019. The number of MSME in Indonesia was recorded at around 56 million in 2018.

Stanley Tjiandra, Director of PT Distribusi Voucher Nusantara Indonesia Tbk (DIVA) said that the company expects to have 19,000 new users by the end of 2018. The number of MSME in the regions, where DIVA’s agents currently located as per 2017, is as follows, South Sumatera 108,454 units, West Sumatera 501,410 units, Bogor 49,909 units, and Jakarta 1,158,904 units.

Dian Kurniadi, Director of PT DIVA added that the company have 16,800 agents in Indonesia, who are ready to grab new customers in the MSME sector. In the beginning of October 2018, the company and PT Telkomsel signed the memorandum of agreement (MoU) to monetise the database, which includes 2.9 million customers. (LK/AR/W)
