JAKARTA - PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (CPIN) allocates Rp 2.5 trillion for capital expenditure at the end of 2019. This CapEx has been distributed to the projects that has started last year.
Tjiu Thomas Effendy, President Director of PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (CPIN) stated that almost 50% of Capex has been distributed to develop a factory and a feed production facility. “The factory and feed production facility will operate in the third quarter of 2019. We estimated the factory will be operating in Semarang, Central Java, and Padang, West Sumatera,” he said.
According to Effendy, around 25% or Rp 625 billion of the remaining capital expenditure is allocated to anticipate an increase in the poultry feed, Rp 250 billion for food products, and Rp 400 billion for flexible packaging. (LK/W)
