JAKARTA - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) distributed loans of Rp 565.2 trillion in the first semester of 2019, which became the largest contributor in loan corporation.

Jan Hendra, Corporate Secretary of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) stated that the corporate loan distributed Rp 216,1 trillion, followed by the commercial and SMEs loan at Rp 189.2 trillion, and the consumer loan at Rp 152 trillion. “In portfolio of consumer loan, property loans account grew by 11.2% year-on-year to Rp 90.7 trillion. Motor vehicle loans fell by 1.5% year-on-year to Rp 48.2 trillion, affected by a decrease in two-wheeled vehicle financing.Outstanding credit card balances grew by 6% year-on-year to Rp 13.1 trillion in June 2019. And Islamic (syaria) financing increased by 4.3% year-on-year to Rp 4.9 trillion in the same period,” he said.

In the same period, BCA recorded Rp 673,9 trillion in third party funds. The largest contributor was sourced in CASA amounting to Rp 510.4 trillion, while deposit was at Rp 163.5 trillion. (LK/W)
