07 October 2013

PT Visi Media Asia Tbk (VIVA) seeks options to refinance its US$80 million loan from Deutsche Bank maturing in February 2014, as it gets approval to make assets as collateral.

The shareholders meeting of the media holding owned by Bakrie Group approved the management plan to make majority of its assets as collateral, including TV stations ANTV and TVONE.

Earlier, tycoon Hary Tanoe from MNC Group had talks to buy assets of VIVA but the plan was cancelled.
