Videos » Adi Sarana on fuel price hike, expansion target
02 October 2014

Car rental provider PT Adi Sarana Armada Tbk (ASSA) plans to expand its fleet to 17,000 units from 15,000 this year with capital expenditure Rp800 billion, while seeing no big impact from the planned increased fuel price. It sees that the new government will support infrastructure development which is positive for the car rental business. The company will use bank loan to cover almost all of the spending for buying cars and opening new branches.

In the meantime, it has launched a new business line running in selling used cars through auction namely BidWin. It expects to sell 2,000 cars used in the rental business to rejuvenate its fleet. Providing car rental, logistics, and car trading, ASSA expects to reap revenue Rp1.01 trillion this year, despite slowdown in the first half.
