JAKARTA - PT Surya Esa Perkasa Tbk (ESSA) will be targeting Panca Amara Utama (PAU), the ammonia plant that operates in November 2017. The factory progress has reached around 45% since the groundbreaking in September 2015.
Business Development Director of PT Surya Esa Perkasa, IB Putra Jhandana, said they expect the factory will be operating as soon as possible based on the target in November 2016. "It will become the largest ammoniac factory in Indonesia after PT Pupuk Indonesia," said he in the company's public expose in Jakarta.
Surya Esa Perkasa's investment allocated as much as US$830 million; the financing has been backed up by International Finance Corporation (IFC) and bank syndicate. The project expenditure has an investment of US$200 million in June 2016. The location of the factory is in Luwuk, Central Sulawesi. (LK)
