JAKARTA – PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) will apply the same strategy this year which focus on organic growth.
In the first half of the year, Tower Bersama organically added 1.222 tenancies of which 713 were telecommunication towers. The quarterly tenant additions in the first half of 2016 were comparable to the company’s quarterly tenant additions in 2013 and 2015. The tenancy additions in the first six months of 2016 are already more than 80% of Tower Bersama’s full year 2015 gross tenancy additions.
As of 30 June 2016, Tower Bersama had 20.969 tenants and 13.067 telecommunication sites. The telecommunication sites comprised 12.070 telecommunication towers, 931 shelter-only sites, and 66 DAS networks with total tower tenants amounting to 19.972 on tower sites and the company’s tenancy ratio is 1.65.
Tower Bersama will still rely on internal cash for funding in this year and next year. The company also has the approval to issue global bonds as much as US$500 million. Moreover, the company has the approval from FSA to issue up to Rp5 trillion of IDR (Rupiah) Bonds. Tower Bersama assumes this number is more than enough to support organic growth until the end of this year or next year. (LM)
