JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) claimed the company's profit performance could increase higher reaching 11% than the other competitors. The company focuses to small medium entreprise's (SMEs) and the profit still positive.

The Director of PT BRI Tbk, Haru Koesmahargyo, said the company’s performance keeps positive year on year, and grows above the competitors. “We keep on growing and always above the Industrial average growth. When the Industrial average growth below 10%, let's say 8%, we still grow around 11%. With the sustainability of our consistency, it is the key to keep increasing the market share of Profit,” he said in Jakarta.

According to him, the company expands to the overseas only in purpose to support the consumer business. The company still focuses to serve the SMEs’ debtor, even though the debtors are in  overseas.

“I think mostly, it is still in ASEAN countries, and to that matter even we are
still in the study, whether establishing branches or representative offices, or we can use the other institution to assist our customer transaction, or by BRI itself,” he said. (LK)
