JAKARTA - The management of PT Berlian Laju Tanker Tbk (BLTA) has set the strategy up to operate the third party shipments to earn more revenue. In 2017, the strategy implementation resulted a better performance.


Director of PT Berlian Laju Tanker Tbk Anthony Budiawan said that the company is seeking the ways to earn capital, which operated the third parties shipping. “The strategy was quite success and impacted the revenue, given a US$ 18 million of increase,” said he, in Jakarta.



The company's operating revenue was US$ 25.24 million. The largest contribution to the revenue came from chemical vessels at US$ 21.35 million, gas vessels at US$ 3.82 million, and others at US$ 69,523. The company's gross profit and net loss were US$ 2.94 million and US$ 8.69 million,
respectively.


In 2016, the operating revenue was US$ 20.25 million, which was contributed from chemical vessel at US$ 9.09 million and others at US$ 223,758 million.


Based on consumers’ contribution, it consists of PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (TPIA), Apex Energy, and PT Shell Indonesia at approximately 44.5%. The company's gross profit was US$ 4.64 million and net loss at US$ 15.74 million. (LK/W)
