JAKARTA- PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jabar and Banten Tbk (BJBR) recorded total assets of Rp 120.7 trillion in the second quarter of 2019, up 6.4% compared to the same period last year.
BJBR Corporate Secretary Asadi Budiman said that the increase in total assets was supported by an increase in third party funds of Rp 89.3 trillion, or an increase of 7.4% from year to year. "Credit disbursement also increased 8.2% or to Rp 77.8 trillion. That performance made the bank's profit reach Rp 803 billion," he said.
According to Mr Budiman, the company will continue implementing several strategic plans to face business competition in the digital age. In the short-term, BJBR will accelerate the presence of electronic and digital bank products and services. (LK/MS)
