JAKARTA - The Minister of Finance and the Head of the National Personnel Agency (BKN) signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Finance and BKN, in the Mezzanine Hall of the Djuanda I Building, Ministry of Finance. This collaboration is intended as a form of innovation to improve technology-based staffing services that have the recognition of administrative legality.

Through this collaboration, the Ministry of Finance and BKN will be able to exchange data on the State Civil Service Information System (ASN) in the two institutions, namely the Ministry of Finance's Human Resources Information System (HRIS) with the Employee Service Application System (SAPK) in BKN. In addition, for the development of ASN Management, the use of digital signatures will be recognized for the benefit of staffing documents issued by both parties.

In her remarks, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani said that in addition to changing business processes, the Digital era also demanded the increasingly low use of paper, less paper or even paperless. "In digital-based ASN management, there is the potential for cost savings of thousands of sheets of paper for the promotion of SK promotion, retirement, adjustments due to study assignments, and others," said the Minister. It also can also save on printing costs, file storage space, up to the time that leaders must spend to sign it directly. (LM)
