Bumi Resources seeks fresh funds through MESOP scheme

JAKARTA - PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) will launch a private placement through a management-employee stock option (MESOP) scheme on March 9-26, 2020. In the first phase of the programme, the company will convert 71,494.951 shares at Rp 926.16 per share.

In a company's stock exchange filing published on Monday (2/3), BUMI Director Dileep Srivastra said the corporate action was decided at an AGM on June 16, 2017. "The MESOP programme will be launched in five stages within no later than five years after the AGM," he said.

The programme is open to the company's commissioners, except the Independent Commissioner, as well as directors and employees. In the first stage the company is expected to collect Rp 66.21 billion of additional funds through the programme. (LK/MS)
