JAKARTA - PT Pan Brothers Tbk (PBRX) assured that its capital expenditure (capex) realisation would reach US$ 10 million at the end of 2018. In the third quarter of 2018, the capex realisation was about of US$ 8 million.
Fitri Ratnasari, Director of PT Pan Brother Tbk (PBRX) said that capital expenditure was used for the modernisation of its machinery. "The fund taken from capex (for modernisation) is about US$ 7 million to US$ 12 million per year," he said in the public expose sheet.
According to her, the capex allocation would be used for modernizing the machinery that will be needed for research and development (R&D) or machinery that is needed for new design and style. "The fund sourced from the internal cash," she added.
She said that in 2018, US$ 5 million of capex was allocated to develop one factory Teodore pan Garmindo in 2018. The fund will be used gradually in the mid of 2019. (LK)
