JAKARTA - Sales of PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk (SRIL) were recorded at US$ 632.44 million in the first half of 2019, up from the same period last year of US$ 538.76 million. This increase was supported by finishing sales and garment segments, while other segments declined.
As quoted from the 2019 first semester financial statements, sales of spinning products amounted to US$ 254.12 million, down compared to the same period last year of US$ 254.40 million, weaving was recorded at US$ 40.54 million, down from US$ 41 , 44 million, finishing was recorded at US$ 168.84 million, up from US$ 121.36 million, and garment at US$ 168.93 million, up from US$ 121.54 million.
While gross profit was recorded at US$ 127.96 million, up from US$ 99.47 million, operating profit was recorded at US$ 102.36 million, up from US$ 99.27 million, and current period profit of US$ 54.15 million, down from US$ 55.67 million. (LK)
