JAKARTA - The healthcare segment (Siloam) from PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR) contributed Rp 5.21 trillion of the total revenue of Rp 8.27 trillion as of the third quarter of 2019. This performance outperformed other segments such as urban development, large scale integrated development and mall.
Quoted from the press release, the contribution of the healthcare segment is the main buffer for LKPR revenue increase in the third quarter of 2019 as in the same period last year, amounting to Rp 4.39 trillion of the total revenue of Rp 8.26 trillion. Then, followed by revenue from the mall and other segments amounting to Rp 1.42 trillion.
While the urban development and large scale integrated development segments contributed revenues of Rp. 917 billion and Rp. 718 billion, respectively. In the same period last year, the urban development segment contributed revenue of Rp 1.78 trillion and large scale integrated development amounting to Rp 707 billion.
The decline in business development segment revenue was due to occasional profits, namely Meikarta land sales to MSU in Lippo Cikarang amounting to Rp 838 billion. LPKR recorded a gross profit of Rp 3.19 trillion, down from Rp 3.75 trillion in the same period last year. (LK)
