JAKARTA. PT Indika Energy Tbk (INDY) prepares a capital expenditure (CapEx) budget of US$ 146 million this year, less than half the budget in 2019 (US$ 315 million).
Head of Corporate Communication of INDY, Leonardus Herwindo said that the budget was made with considering the price volatility and the market of coal, and also the company's operational effectiveness.
"CapEx budget for 2020 is planned at US$ 146 million, most of which will be used for Petrosea operations," Leonardus said as quoted by KONTAN, Monday (6/1).
INDY management predicts that the price of coal will continue to fluctuate and will be influenced by various external factors. The situation and developments in the Middle East, can also affect global coal prices, said Leonardus. (AM/AR)
