JAKARTA. PT Mandiri Sekuritas, a subsidiary of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) will try to increase the number of its retail investors by 24.37% this year, through the Mandiri Sekuritas Online Trading (MOST) platform.
By the end of 2019, Mandiri Sekuritas had 119,000 retail investors. With the target set, the company wants to increase the number of its retail investors to 148 thousand investors.
Theodora VN Manik, SEVP of Mandiri Sekuritas, said that her party would develop the MOST platform. For example the addition of digital signature features, which can shorten the authorization process from 7 days to 1 day. "We will further develop MOST," Manik said as quoted by Kontan on Wednesday (19/2) yesterday.
Most of Mandiri Sekuritas' investors are 18-31 years old, mostly from Jakarta and Surabaya. (KR/AR)
