JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) summoned the leaders of Bank Mandiri and Bank Central Asia (BCA) in relation to PT Asuransi Jiwasraya corruption case.
This was stated by the Director of Investigation for Special Crimes Deputy Attorney General, Febrie Adriansyah. Although the details were not disclosed, they were examined as witnesses in the case.
In addition to Mandiri and BCA, explained Febrie, leaders of other national and private banks may also be summoned. "We summon the management or the leaders of Bank Mandiri and BCA to open a suspect's account and find out how much money saved there," he said.
Previously, in relation to the Jiwasraya corruption case, AGO has arrested six suspects, namely
- Benny Tjokrosaputro, President Commissioner of PT Hanson International
- Heru Hidayat, President Commissioner of PT Trada Alam Minera (Tram)
- Hary Prasetyo, Former Finance Director of PT Asuransi Jiwasraya
- Hendrisman Rahim, Former President Director of PT Asuransi Jiwasraya
- Syahmirwan, Former Head of Investment and Finance Division of PT Asuransi Jiwasraya
- Joko Hartono Tirto, Director of PT Maxima Integra
