JAKARTA - PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) 's current year revenue and profit performance has declined in 2019 compared to the same period last year. The decrease in performance was due to a decrease in automotive sector sales revenue.
As quoted from the Financial Report as of December 31, 2019 on Friday (28/2), the revenue collected was Rp 237.16 trillion, down from Rp 239.20 trillion in 2018, gross profit as much as Rp 50.23 trillion, down from Rp 50, 76 trillion, and current year profit of Rp 26.62 trillion, down from Rp 27.37 trillion.
In 2019, revenue from the automotive sector was Rp 104.84 trillion, followed by heavy equipment revenue Rp 84.43 trillion, financial services Rp 20.43 trillion, agribusiness Rp 17.45 trillion, infrastructure and logistics Rp 8.10 trillion, information technology Rp 4.77 trillion, and property Rp 447 billion.
Whereas in 2019, revenues from the automotive sector were Rp 107.32 trillion, followed by heavy equipment revenues Rp 84.62 trillion, financial services Rp 19.46 trillion, agribusiness Rp 19.08 trillion, infrastructure and logistics Rp 7.49 trillion, technology information of Rp 4.07 trillion, and property of Rp 211 billion.
