JAKARTA - PT Rukun Raharja Tbk (RAJA) prepares Rp 40 billion to repurchase (buyback) 422,708,250 of its shares. If the action is approved in the company's General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) on 20 April 2020, the buyback is planned to be held from 21 April 2020 to 21 October 2021.
According to the company's disclosure published on Thursday (12/3), the buyback will be done while also considering market conditions. This corporate action is expected to provide flexibility which can help record efficient capital structure, increase earnings per share (EPS) and sustainable return on equity (ROE).
The company's EPS and ROE is expected to increase after this corporate action. (LK/AR)
