JAKARTA. PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (WIKA) obtained new contracts with a total value of Rp 2.48 trillion in the first quarter of 2020, 76.82% lower than the figure recorded in the same period in 2019 ( Rp 10.7 trillion).
Meanwhile, the achievement of Rp 2.48 trillion is only 3.78% of the company's target for this year of Rp 65.5 trillion.
"This is certainly due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia and the world," said Corporate Secretary of WIKA Mahendra Vijaya last week. He added the coronavirus pandemic would have an impact on the company's operations.
For net profit, WIKA is targeting to obtain Rp 2.92 trillion, 11.41% higher than the realization in 2019 of Rp 2.62 trillion. (AM/AR)
