Chitose aims Rp 430 billion sales in 2020

CIMAHI - PT Chitose Internasional Tbk (CINT) is optimistic on achieving sales growth of furniture products in 2020, even though the global economy is currently weakening due to the trade war and the Covid-19 pandemic. This was stated in the Company's Public Expose event held in Cimahi, West Java. In the public expose, CINT management is targeting sales growth of 4% or as much as Rp 430 billion.

"The company remains optimistic amid the tendency of a weakening global economy due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Through the above strategy, we hope to continue to maintain trust (Trust), remain innovative and responsive (Agile) while continuing to apply efficiency (Efficient) as the Company's work target in 2020. This year we also target net profit growth of Rp 16 billion or grow 122 "% from last year," explained Director of CINT, Timatius Jusuf Paulus.

For information, PT Chitose Internasional Tbk posted positive performance growth throughout 2019. The company posted net sales of Rp 411.78 billion, up about 11.18% compared to net sales of the same period in 2018 which was recorded at Rp 370.39 billion.

This increase in sales occurred in the local market by 10.91% and the export market by 16.28%. CINT net sales consisted of: folding chair segment sales by 31%; hotel, banquet, and restaurant segments by 28%; office furniture segment by 25%; education segment 12%; and the remaining 4% is for hospital and other segments.
