JAKARTA - Heavy equipment manufacturer PT Arkha Jayanti Persada Tbk (ARKA) is seeking to obtain two electricity projects in Palu, Central Sulawesi and Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. The two projects are expected to boost the company's revenue until the end of the year.

According to ARKA CEO Dwi Hartono, in order to increase revenue the company aims to expand its market share and sales in the steel structure segment. "In addition, the company seeks to obtain partnership contracts in the Palu 3 Steam Power Plant's Boiler & Mill Building Steel Structure project as well as the rejuvenation of Pertamina's Balikpapan refinery," he said in a stock exchange filing published on Monday (3/8).

However, the company did not disclose the values of both contracts.

Aside from the two projects, Mr Hartono said, the company has pocketed a Rp 45.31 billion partnership project with PT Rekayasa Industri (Rekind) with a working period of two months. "The project is expected to boost the company's performance," he said.

He added that the projects involve the supply, demand, manufacturing, and installation of steel structures in a strategic national project in Bojonegoro, East Java. (LK/MS)
