Bank Victoria signed a contract worth IDR 4.36 billion with an affiliated company

JAKARTA - PT Bank Victoria Tbk (BVIC) has just signed an extension of the office lease contract at the Graha BIP Building, with an affiliated company, with a transaction value of IDR 4.36 billion.

Ahmad Fajar, President Director of BVIC, said that the building area for rent had an area of 290 square meters and would be used as Bank Victoria office for the BIP branch. The contract period for this building area will last for 36 months, starting from January 1, 2021.

In an information disclosure at Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) today, Fajar admitted that the affiliate transaction was carried out to increase the synergy between the Victoria group.

On the same occasion, he explained that the owner of building was PT Asri Kencana Gemilang, which 99.99% owned by PT Bhuwanatala Indah Permai Tbk (BIPP). For more information, 71.49% of BIPP's shares are currently owned by Safire Capital Ltd, which is still affiliated with Chemical Asia Corporation Pte Ltd (CAC).

Meanwhile 99.51% of CAC's shares are currently controlled by Louise Li, the son of BVIC's shareholder, Suzanna Tanojo. Until the signing of lease contract, Tanojo was recorded as owning 17.18% of BVIC shares. (KR/VA)
