JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) was observed to slump by 1.34% or 81.15 points to 5,989.06 at the end of trading session I today. All sectoral indices fell and dragged JCI to the red zone.
The biggest decline occurred in the construction sector which fell by 2.59% and the miscellaneous industry sector which fell by 2.30%. Reporting from Kontan, the total volume of stock exchange transactions in the first session reached 10.23 billion shares with a transaction value of IDR 5.28 trillion.
LQ45 top losers this afternoon are PT Tjiwi Kimia Tbk Paper Factory (TKIM), PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS) and PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BBTN). (LM)
