JAKARTA. Starting today (28/4), PT Anugrah Cakrawala Dunia launches the mandatory tender offer (MTO) of the remaining shares of PT Agro Yasa Lestari Tbk (AYLS) of 30.3%. This action is a follow-up to the previous tender offer of 69.7%.
The MTO running until May 27, 2021, would purchase the remaining shares of 258.70 units, with IDR 50.74 each. On February 25, 2021, there has been a notary sales and purchase agreement of 69.7% of shares from the company’s issued and paid-up capital. It is equal to 594.72 million units, amounting to IDR 15 billion transactions in total.
The old shareholders of Agro Yasa was Akam and Hidayat Winardi, who has sold their shares for a lower price in the negotiation market to PT Anugrah Cakrawala Dunia (ACD). Following this transaction, ACD now becomes the new shares controller. ACD is a company operating within the financial activities and insurance business.
The MTO of ACD has been announced in the information disclosure on the Indonesian Stock Exchange on Tuesday (27/4). ACD bought the shares to fulfil its intentions to develop and expand its business and strengthen its trading sector position. (AM/ZH)
