JAKARTA. The Financial Services Authority (lit. Otoritas Jasa Keuangan/OJK) reported that the total raised funds by the companies in the capital market until October 26, 2021, had reached IDR 273.93 trillion. It proliferated 282.8% from the amount reported in the same period last year.
The OJK report on Monday (8/11) revealed the trend of increasing proceeds had been visible since August 2021, reaching IDR 255.45 trillion at that time. It rose to IDR 266.82 trillion in September, then arrived at IDR 273.92 trillion by October. Meanwhile, the number of newly listed companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) amounted to 40 companies by this October.
The upward shift in issuers’ funds was also followed by the growth in net assets of mutual funds by October of IDR 563.85 trillion, along with the domestic investors that reached 6.4 million investors. The said report on net assets also reflected its own positive trend since August 2021, amounting to IDR 542.54 trillion, which then grew to IDR 552.76 trillion in September.
