JAKARTA – PT Indo Straits Tbk (PTIS) secures extensions of contracts of mine dredging worth IDR 28 billion from one of the mining companies in South Kalimantan. Ronny A Hendrawan, Corporate Secretary of Indo Straits, announced in the information disclosure quoted Thursday (17/2).
According to Hendrawan, the said dredging contract extension will bring forth positive nuances to the company’s performance this year. “The company has provided a prime service and satisfaction to the customers,” he claimed.
The employers are said to be affiliated with PTIS. For the record, PTIS has a subsidiary engaged in the mining industry, PT Straits Mining Service. There is also another subsidiary in the marine field, PT Pelayaran Straits. Both subordinate companies are 99.99% owned by Indo Straits.
As of September 2021, PTIS’s third-party customers included PT Trans Coal Pacific Tbk, PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam, and PT Arutmin Indonesia. They contributed USD 8.36 million to the revenue. (LK/ZH)
