JAKARTA. PT Bundamedik Tbk (BMHS), the issuer that manages Bunda Hospital network, has purchased another 40% of shares of PT Prima Dental Medika (PDM), expending a total of IDR 1.35 billion.
Mesha Rizal Sini, President Director of BMHS, confirmed that the total ownership percentage in PDM now soars to 86.67% from 46.67%. The freshly acquired 40% initially belonged to Himawan Halim and Setiawan Witjaksana.
In the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), Sini claimed that the portion raise in PDM was intended to solidify the healthcare service ecosystem. “[It is to] provide positive results on the financial performance of the company and improve business sustainability,” Sini elaborated.
According to idnfinancials.com data, PDM is a dental care company established in 2010. As of September 30, 2021, PDM reportedly owned total assets before elimination of IDR 1.47 billion.
Meanwhile, BMHS possessed cash and cash equivalents of IDR 679.99 billion by the end of September 2021. It also had total assets of IDR 2.53 trillion. (KR/ZH)
