JAKARTA. PT Mitrabahtera Segara Sejati Tbk (MBSS), a marine transportation under Indika Group, recently increased its stock portion in PT Mitra Alam Segara Sejati (MASS) to 99%.

Emy Oktavia, Corporate Secretary of MBSS, claimed that her company had signed the sale and purchase agreement of 19.82 million shares of MASS from PT Sedalia Semesta Alam (SSA) a couple of days ago. The transaction amount agreed by MBSS and SSA reached IDR 50.31 billion.

For the record, MBSS previously only claimed 60% of MASS’s shares, leaving the remaining 40% to SSA. Thus, after this stock sale and purchase, the company now owns 99% of MASS, while PT Galley Adhika Amawama only secured 1%.

“The transaction is conducted in a way that fits the company’s business strategy and ensures that the company will focus on sustainable business activities,” Oktavia explained in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

According to idnfinancials.com data, MASS is a company engaged in the shipping sector and was established in 2012. By the end of September 2021, it collects total assets before elimination of USD 14.35 million. (KR/ZH)
