JAKARTA. PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO) will distribute final dividend of USD 300 million, equivalent to IDR 4.33 trillion, based on the decision made during the Annual General Shareholders Meeting yesterday (27/4).
In the said meeting, ADRO’s shareholders agreed to allocate 70% of the company’s net profit in 2021 as cash dividends. For reference, the company managed to cash in USD 933 million in net profit in 2021.
Previously, in January 2022, ADRO also channelled out interim dividends of USD 350 million, equivalent to IDR 5 trillion. Therefore, the total cash dividend to be paid out by the company from its 2021 gains amounts to USD 650 million.
“Giving returns to our shareholders is always one of our commitment,” Garibaldi Thohir, President Director of ADRO.
ADRO’s shareholders also agreed to reserve USD 283 million as retained earnings. (KR/ZH)
