BOLA places USD 2 million as investment in Vidio.com

JAKARTA – PT Bali Bintang Sejahtera Tbk (BOLA), the managing company of Bali United soccer club, channels an investment worth USD 2 million to PT Vidio Dot Com, the operator of Vidio.com platform. Yohanes Ade Bunian Monaga, Director of Bali United confirmed the news in the information disclosure quoted today (15/6).

“It will positively affect the business through diversification and reinforce the subsidiary’s performance to further back up the company’s business activities,” Monaga explained.

BOLA’s investment in Vidio.com is placed through its subsidiary, PT Ekonomi Baru Investasi Teknologi (EBIT), which signed the investment contract yesterday (14/6). EBIT started to operate commercially earlier this year, possessing assets of IDR 100.42 billion at the end of March 2022.

Until March 2022, BOLA’s revenue clocks up to IDR 77 billion. The commercial club management contributes IDR 21.85 billion. Then, the club management follows behind with IDR 1.72 billion, as does the sport agency sponsor that generates IDR 21.38 billion, the live video streaming and video-on-demand of IDR 29.25 billion, and other segments of IDR 2.78 billion.
