Bintang Samudera Mandiri Lines to pay out cash dividends of IDR 1.08 per share

JAKARTA. PT Bintang Samudera Mandiri Lines TBk (BSML), a marine transportation service provider under Goldfive Investment Capital, will channel out cash dividends of IDR 1.08 per share or IDR 2 billion in total.

This plan follows the decision made during the Annual General Shareholders Meeting of BSML held last week.

In this meeting, the shareholders consented to allocate IDR 1 billion of the 2021 net profit as cash dividends. Then, the shareholders also agreed to add another IDR 1 billion to the cash dividend allocation from its retained earnings.

“Therefore, the total cash dividend to be distributed clocks up to IDR 2 billion, which will be sent out to the shareholders who represent 1.85 billion shares,” Pramayari, Corporate Secretary of BSML, explained in detail in the official announcement.

According to idnfinancials.com data, BSML managed to collect a net profit of IDR 4.38 billion in the fiscal year 2021. After setting aside the cash dividend budget, the remaining net profit of the company will be stored as retained earnings, which will reach a total of IDR 16.35 billion. (KR/ZH)
