JAKARTA – PT Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk (INRU) and EPC Project Procurement Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), United Arab Emirates, decide to raise the price of Lime Kiln and its materials by EUR 677,500.
In the information disclosure quoted Tuesday (18/10), Anwar Lawden, Corporate Secretary of Toba Pulp Lestari, said that the total agreement value after the first addendum of the Lime Kiln procurement contract will increase to EUR 15.23 million. “It is due to additional items listed in the agreement of the procurement of Lime Kiln and its materials,” he added.
Said contract will be effective until October 4, 2024, from the initial signing date on October 14, 2022. It is worth mentioning that INRU and DMCC Dubai are not affiliated.
On June 7, 2022, INRU and DMCC signed an agreement regarding the procurement of Lime Kiln and its materials worth EUR 14,555. The down payment was then channelled to the supplier, DMCC, in euro, amounting to EUR 873, which are equivalent to USD 927. Then, other international suppliers also received an advanced payment worth USD 65. (LK/ZH)
